Webinar Series
The Scottish Strategic Network for Genomic Medicine (SSNGM) and the Scottish Pathology Network (SPAN) will deliver a series of educational sessions for pathology and genomic laboratories, followed by specific subject area webinars.

Don’t miss this opportunity to expand your expertise and stay informed on the latest developments in genomics and pathology!

The first session took place on Tuesday 5th November where SSNGM Scientific Lead – Nicola Williams gave a comprehensive overview of the Scottish Genomic Test Directories. The second session was on Tuesday 10th December. Dr Chee Thum, Consultant Pathologist at NHS Lothian, presented an overview of the Pathology Service Overview in Scotland. The third session, was on Monday 27th January. Louisa Smith, Clinical Scientist at NHS Grampian and Joel Tracey, Clinical Scientist at NHS Grampian introduced the Genomics Laboratories Overview. Tuesday 22nd April 2025,12:30pm – 1:30pm. In the fourth session, we introduced Precision in Practice: The Role of Pathology & Molecular Testing in Lung Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment featuring expert insights from Dr David Dorward, Consultant Pathologist at NHS Lothian and Sophie McHaffie, Clinical Scientist at NHS Lothian.

Thursday 22nd May 2025,12:30pm – 1:30pm.
