The format of the Scottish Test Directories has changed from PDF to a more accessible and user-friendly spreadsheet format. Please refer to the guidance below on how to navigate the new test directory spreadsheet.
What is included in the new version?
- Full Quality Check –for the first time ever, the Scottish Test Directories have undergone a comprehensive quality check process. This marks a significant milestone making the directories the most current and reliable source of information on available tests across Scotland. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible!
- Amendments – all approved amendments submitted via the SSNGM Test Directory groups or Amendment Form have been incorporated into this version. A summary of changes can be found under the “Change Summary” tab in the updated format of the Test Directory (see attached guide).
- Standardisation of terminology – 75% of Rare and Inherited Disease (RID) condition and indications have now been updated to match Mondo terminology. Work is ongoing to review cancer and the remaining RID terms which will be updated in later versions.
